Family Support Groups

Artwork by Eva Goddard

We offer two family-support groups (one for 4-11 year-olds and one for 12-17 year-olds), where Autistic young people can meet each other and parents can chat to our peer support workers.

There are numerous activities available at the 4-11 group, which vary from week to week, including; Wii, colouring, craft, games, sensory exploration, movement opportunities, a dark den and lots of fidgets.

The 12-17 group is Anime themed. Parents are not required to attend this group, but if they wish to stay, there is a parents area where refreshments are available and a peer support worker will be on hand to chat.

The 4-11 group takes place fortnightly on Tuesdays, 16:30 - 18:00 at The in The AU-tism Zone in Newport.
The 12-17 Anime group runs once a month.
